Q: "How much noise do your aspirators make?"

All of MD Resource’s aspirators are whisper quiet at < 50 dB while running at maximum vacuum.

Q: "How are your aspirators different?"

All of MD Resource’s aspirators utilize an oil-less vacuum system, which makes it virtually maintenance-free and engineered to provide years of trouble-free use. The K Pump can pair with the TMD ridding the need of a power supply for the TMD, cutting out trouble with extra cables and needing extra outlets.

Q: "Are the aspirators easy to operate?"

The LS2, RM2000, and NX3 all come with dual foot pedal compatibility. This allows you to place a pedal on each side of the table and operate the machine by foot from either side.

Q: "How does the Aquavage compare to other fat transfer devices available?"

First, it starts with saline in the bottom of the canister to immediately enable separation of the fat as it flows in from your cannula. When fat hits the saline, it immediately separates and floats to the top.It is designed for simplicity of operation, without mesh systems that clog up, basic bucket systems that rely on the tumescent to separate, and colander systems that are exposed and volatile to the cells.

Q: "How big are your aspirators?"

The LS2 has a footprint 15.5″ deep and 15.5″ wide, and the NX3 has a footprint of 14″ deep and 16″ wide. Both systems have an IV pole through the back of the machine that can hold a canister holder that holds 2 canister, and the top of the pole can hold a TMD. Both have the room for a K Pump to be placed on top of the machines. The LS2 can also has a PAL shelf to hold a PAL and the K Pump can be placed on that. These systems allow for minimum floor space being used and also limit the amount of cables being used as the LS2 and K Pump allow for other systems to plug into them for power instead of needing another power source.

Q: "How do you suggest to sterilize your equipment?"

Products SHOULD BE STERILIZED BY STEAM, USING EITHER A GRAVITY DISPLACEMENT OR PRE-VACUUM STERILIZER.

STERILIZERS VARY IN DESIGN AND PERFORMANCE PARAMETERS. VERIFY CYCLE PARAMETERS AGAINST THE WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS OF THE STERILIZER AND CONTAINER MANUFACTURERS. THE FOLLOWING ARE RECOMMENDED STERILIZATION PARAMETERS USING THE WRAPPED OR UNWRAPPED METHOD:

Q: "What are your procedures for preventative maintenance?"

Our systems, including our aspirators, infiltrators, and TMD, are all designed for years of trouble-free use, and thus are designed to not need any sort of preventative maintenance.

Q: "I have a broken cannula, what do I do"?

Please contact MD Resource customer service at: 510-732-9950. There is a minimum charge of $25 plus shipping and handling.

Q: "My LS2 won't turn on, what do I do"?

  1. Ensure that the unit is plugged in.
  2. Ensure that neither of the circuit breakers on the back, bottom left are tripped. They will protrude slightly if they are tripped.
  3. Ensure the power switch on the front of the unit is on.
  4. Try your foot pedal in both of the pneumatic ports on the front of the LS2.
  5. In some cases, a crack may appear closest to the end where it plugs into the LS2. You may cut off a couple of inches if this happens.
  6. If you have a K Pump, try the foot-pedal on the LS2.

If at this point, the aspirator is still not functioning, please contact MD Resource at: 510-732-9950

Q: "My LS2 does not have enough vacuum".

  1. Ensure that the vacuum control valve, on the top right corner, on the front of the machine, is vertical.
  2. Ensure that the “Fat Trap” clear bowl, on the back of the aspirator is securely fastened.
  3. Remove the FL3000 filter, on the top right back corner, from the hose barb.
  4. Turn the aspirator on and place your thumb on the hose barb. The LED display should register ~ 29 in Hg. (This measurement depends on your local altitude and is the maximum amount possible at sea level).

CLEANING AND STERILIZATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADIVIVE™ REUSABLE COMPONENTS
All reusable Adivive™ components must be properly cleaned and sterilized prior to use. Clean all of the
reusable components immediately after treatment. Sterilize via autoclave immediately before use.

REUSABLE COMPONENT WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
(See Safety and Precautions sections for additional system warnings and precautions)
It is required that all reusable components be cleaned and sterilized prior to treatment to
prevent blood and debris from drying on the reusable components and to prevent potential
cross contamination.
During cleaning of the intricate reusable components it is important to thoroughly scrub and
rinse with hot water where potential contamination may occur (e.g., cannula or syringe
connectors) to ensure proper cleaning.
The 50ML FPUs are designed for single treatment use. Re‐use may negatively affect product
performance, cause degradation of materials, and compromise sterility, thus causing undue risk
to patient.
The centrifuged, harvested fat is only to be used for re-implantation without any additional manipulation. Page 14
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Disassemble Adivive™ System and accessories from the centrifuge unit to access all reusable
components required to be sterilized. All of the reusable components must be individually
separated (See pages 3‐9 of this manual for individual component illustrations).
2. Rinse each reusable component with hot water. Use a stiff bristle brush to thoroughly scrub all
crevices and areas to ensure proper removal of all debris.
3. Soak all reusable components in a medical grade enzymatic cleaner. Follow the enzymatic cleaner
manufacturer’s guidelines for the correct dilution, temperature, water quality (i.e. pH, hardness),
exposure time and rinsing.
4. After soaking, rinse all reusable components with hot water for a minimum of 2 minutes or as
specified in the enzymatic cleaner instructions. Thoroughly rinse inside of cannulae and any other
reusable components that have hard to access areas with hot water using a 10‐60cc syringe.
5. Visually inspect the reusable components to ensure they are free of debris and cleaner.
6. Dry all reusable components using a clean, soft, lint‐free cloth or clean compressed air.
STERILIZATION INSTRUCTIONS
GRAVITY SETTING
1. Sterilize all reusable components immediately prior to use.
2. Place components in autoclavable pouches. Use multiple pouches if necessary.
3. Adjust the autoclave to GRAVITY SETTING. Set the autoclave to 270⁰ F (132⁰ C) for 60 minutes
with a 30 minute dry cycle. Remove the reusable components from autoclave and place in
sterile field.
PREVAC SETTING
1. Sterilize all reusable components immediately prior to use.
2. Place components in autoclavable pouches. Use multiple pouches if necessary.
3. Adjust the autoclave to PREVAC SETTING. Set the autoclave to 270⁰ F (132⁰ C) for 6 minutes with
a 35 minute dry cycle. Remove the reusable components from autoclave and place in sterile
field.
CLEANING OF THE CENTRIFUGE ROTOR AND BASIN
1. Using a Sani‐Cloth® Plus, thoroughly wipe the centrifuge chamber to ensure that it is free of any
debris.
2. Using a Sani‐Cloth® Plus, thoroughly wipe the centrifuge rotor and crevices where potential
contamination could occur.
